What to expect in a mindfulness session?

Learn. During the first part of the session, participants will learn what mindfulness is, why it matters and the benefits of practice. In addition, they will take a quick mindfulness self-assessment to increase self-awareness of their current state.

Practice. Next, participants will put what they've learned to work and practice a live, guided meditation

Discuss. Afterwards, we will have an interactive discussion where participants share what they experienced and any challenges or concerns will be addressed.

Do. At the end of the session, participants will create their own a Mindfulness Action Plan so they have a way to sustain their practice.

Kindly note: This is a sample format. We customise sessions as per the needs of the organisation, each time.

To kickstart, we offer a complimentary introduction session on mindfulness. Get in touch, here.

Mindful Time Management

This program busts the myth of ‘I am busy, so I don’t have time’. We discuss with the participants busting myths on “busyness” and list the time wasters. Than present tools of prioritisation, effective time allocation, address procrastination and introduce mindfulness practices used by successful people. Participants practice mindfulness techniques during the program and take away an action plan.

Team Building

This initiative is a mix of all the above modules plus a range of trust building activities. It is a experience based team bonding program focusing on inner and outer connection building a strong relationship with oneself and the team plus listening, communicating and handling team projects effectively. It also imparts empathy, compassion and forgiveness using unique methods and tools involving music, drumming, dance and play. At the end, team receives set of practical tools for conflict resolution, working seamlessly and group mindfulness practices for relieving stress.

Mindful Communication and Listening Skills Program

Participants learn to differentiate between response and reaction reducing conflicts at work, deeply listen, handle difficult conversations with ease and improve open and honest communication. It highlights the techniques Together, we co-create a mindfulness tool-kit to practice in day-to-day life.

Shakti Leadership - Mastering Mindfulness Program

Based on Zen Principles and insights/themes from the organisation, this program is customised for employees in challenging leadership roles. It prepares leaders to simply understand the employees and situations mindfully, act calmly, come up with creative solutions, give creative feedback that empowers subordinates, give opportunities to grow and handle conflicts like a pro. Participants also learn to use tools from Dr. Robert Cialdini’s work to optimise conversations and negotiate effectively.

Our approach

Zen says Facilitation is moving from known to the unknown. It's a simple engaging- emerging process to arrive at strategic solutions.

Design End-to-End Training programs keeping in mind the 'ADDIE' cycle.

  1. Begin with understanding the organisation, it’s culture, working styles, HR and L&D functioning and current needs
  2. Dig deeper and trace the underlying crux of the issue
  3. Design a experiential program to make the participants realise the cost of not solving the problem and their subtle unconscious actions that are causing potential issue
  4. Orchestrate a meaningful conversation as a as a neutral anchor to emerge with solutions in a safe and respectful space, a nurturing environment where participants achieve the objective in the timeframe they are comfortable
  5. At the end, participants make a decision, come up with a solution, resolve conflict or take practice tools to sustain the effect

We believe in the enhancement of content development and delivery through:

1. Dr. Benjamin Bloom's Taxonomy of learning behaviour

2. ADDIE cycle

3. David Kolb’s learning styles model and experiential learning theory (ELT).
